During my days at the daycare I helped the children. Every morning I was met by smiling kids when I opened the door to the house. Even if I became tired and exhausted the work experience was very healthy because I learn what it is like to work. Now I can really imagine how hard it must be for all the adults that works eighth hours a day, and I only worked six hours for nine days.
This work would be excellent to have after the gymnasium. The daycare teachers even told me that I could come and be a substitute when I become older. They thought I had a very good hand for the children and that they wouldn’t think a second before they hired me. I feels great to know that I’m good at this sort of work, when you work with people, because in the future I hope I will have the change to choose a work that involves other persons. I wouldn’t stand to have a work where all I did was to work on my own. The work must be so much funnier if your work in a team.
The first four days I helped out with the smaller children, about two years old. Those days were the funniest and the best days of my work experience. I red many book and I sang many songs, like ”twinkle twinkle” and ”ladybug fly away”. When they were supposed to get out in the garden they needed help to dress up. The cold weather made it hard and warm in the hall but he children were happy and the weather couldn’t bring them down. Because of them I didn’t feel stressed.
The following five days I took care of children in the ages 3 to 6 years old. When these children were out a the garden I was playing with them. I still tried to not do too many things with them, because I was there to see how the teachers worked and not to play like a child. I tried to helped them instead of doing things for children.
When the nine days at the daycare were over it felt so nice to have the weekend for free. Never before had two days from school felt so important. After this work experience at the daycare I won’t look so easily on works that involves children. They made me tired but they also made my day with their jokes and smiles.
